The four-bedroom property, which has been empty for over a year, is on the market to rent on the popular website for £800-a-week, according to the people that had rented it.
The suburban detached home, which is also up for rent for £3,500-a-month and features a large garden and personal driveway, is next door to the tiny North Korean Embassy, in leafy Ealing, west London.
Airbnb tenants last Thursday were completely unaware as to their ”secretive” North Korean neighbours.

The guests, who spent a period in the garden looking at the embassy after being informed, said: ”Wow, we had no idea, we’re only here with Airbnb.”
Estimated to be worth around £2.7m, the large embassy sits opposite a postbox and has a basketball hoop in the back garden – because former Supreme Leader Kim Jong-il loved the US sport.
An elderly couple lived next door to the embassy in Ealing, west London, for decades until moving in 2015, locals say.

But whoever rents the home probably shouldn’t ask for their ball back if it goes over the fence, because the North Korean ambassador and his family are protected by a crack security team from the secretive nation.
Ambassador Kim Sung Gi occasionally hold parties at the seven-bed property, and have been known to give Christmas gifts.
A large flagpole also stands outside which locals say often has the North Korean flag flying.

The owners have since been desperately trying to fill the property and have first put the house up for rent about a month ago at £4,500 but were forced to drop it to £3,500.
Despite being good neighbours the embassy is said to be “secretive” and refuse to open the gates unless the visitor is expected.
They have surrounded the garden with huge hedges, meaning that their new neighbours will not be able to see if the NorthKoreans are having a barbecue.
On their website estate agents renting the property said: “A very spacious four bedroom detached house beautifully arranged over three floors.
